My Channel
I enjoy many different computer games, mostly though, I like those that involve management mechanics and provide a creative sandbox style play.
I’ve spent many, many hours over the years building cities and many other creations, only for the content to be forgotten and the save file eventually disappear into oblivion. So I decided to start a YouTube channel to provide a permanent online record of all time and effort I put in, as well as sharing what I do with others.

I’m located in the Greater Wellington region of Aotearoa (land of the long white cloud), New Zealand. Other than that, I’ll keep my online presence to my Wellington6012 persona and politely maintain a certain degree of real-world anonymity.
The Name
Wellington6012 was just a secondary google account I had rattling around, using it for some social media and earlier uploads on different platforms. But as time went on and more people referenced it, it started to become my brand and I continued to build on that when I started my expanded YouTube presence.
The Cable Car in my opening sequence is the most iconic image of Wellington, linking the CBD with the Victoria University and Botanical Gardens.
